We made pie plates in larger sizes for many years, but quite often a customer would say "We don't make pastry ourselves any more, it's so easy to just buy it from the shop". Hmm... if you can't beat 'em, join em. So now we make plates to suit the ready-made stuff.
  And display them with a packet along side, too.
