	Water etching, again  This platter is about 250 mm diameter, sprayed with brown slip. The pattern is drawn free-hand using liquid wax and a fine brush, then a fine spray of water washes away the unprotected slip to leave just the design. The brown edge is applied by spraying more slip, before the first "bisque" firing.
